barrier  islands.   Miles  of sandy  beaches and  the Atlantic Ocean provide hours of sunbathing 
and beautiful  views. You'll enjoy boating, fishing and sailing on the Intracoastal Waterway and
plenty of shopping and dining.

                                                           

 Fort Caswell, the Coast Guard Station, and
the Oak Island Light  House  are located on
Caswell Beach.  Enjoy golf at the Oak Island
Golf Club, situated on Caswell Beach and
Oak Island.

The historic town of Southport is only 8 miles from 
these beaches with the gorgeous Cape Fear River
waterfront and many specialty shops, restaurants,
and museums.    St. James Plantation with 4 golf 
courses is also within minutes of Oak Island and
Caswell Beach.

Bald Head Island is accessable only by ferry boat
and is across the river from Southport.  You'll find
golf, beaches, shopping and restaurants on Bald
 Head Island.
